Art Nouvea

The main characteristics of Art Nouvea are whip lash curves and the  absence of straight or right angled lines.
Artists usually took inspiration from animals and insects as well as nature.  They usually integrate them into the paintings and works by implying them or having them symbolize something.
Art Nouvea was inspired by other genre of art like the arts and crafts era, Celtic art, Japanese art, Gothic revival etc.
Art Nouvea has different names in different countries. For example: Jugendstil in Germany; Stil Liberty in Italy and Modernista in Spain.
